The Women's Committee and Civil Rights & Equity Committee meet jointly on the first Thursday of each month. Contact the Union Hall for information on how to join one of these committees.
The Women's Committee represents the Local in matters of importance to women.
The Civil Rights & Equity Committee works towards the elimination of discrimination based on sex, race, creed, color or any other form of discrimination. It consists of a diverse group of Local members that investigate and report on all complaints of inequity raised by Union members relative to discrimination or sexual harassment.
