CWA 6143 Secures City of San Antonio Digital Inclusion RFP
We are delighted to announce that AT&T has been awarded the San Antonio Digital Inclusion RFP, and we are proud to have played an integral role in securing labor standards and lobbying city council and staff.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our members and Local leadership, this partnership will not only bring job security for the next 5+ years but also create new job opportunities and move away from outside contracting. Additionally, we are excited to have the potential to connect 20,200 new fiber customers to the network, improving connectivity in the area.
As advocates for digital inclusion, we understand the significance of bridging the digital divide, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to high-speed internet. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside AT&T and the city of San Antonio, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate to make digital inclusion a reality.
